Coby Bolder has more than 25 years dedicated to advancing the nutrition and well-being of horses. She is a leader in equine nutrition and care in Spain. She founded Horse1 Equine. There, she provides premier nutritional consulting and training. This enables riders, trainers, and veterinarians to ensure the health and performance of their horses.

Bolger develops science-based ration management solutions that address the needs of a diverse equine population, from aging horses to elite international competitors. She also finds time to lecture at several universities, being dedicated to educating future equine professionals.

Bolger’s professional contributions include authoring two books and numerous articles, as well as producing educational television programs on equine nutrition and participating in government-level policy development. She has conducted peer-reviewed research on foal growth and gastric ulcers and actively participates in international conferences. Her collaborative efforts with veterinarians, horse owners, breeders, and feed mills have led to the formulation of customized nutrition and exercise programs tailored to the unique demands of the equine athlete.

Bolger has competed internationally in both eventing and dressage, representing Spain on numerous occasions throughout Europe. Her extensive experience in high-stakes competition, combined with her academic background, enable her to address equine nutritional needs with pragmatism and insight.

Bolger tries to ride every day and integrates her professional life with her passion for horses and cooking, as well as her family (three children, husband Antonio, three horses, three dogs, and two cats).
