Nicolas C. Galinelli graduated as a veterinarian from the University of La Plata, Argentina. He then spent time working as an equine clinician on different farms in Argentina before moving abroad.

He worked in several equine hospitals in Saudi Arabia, Colombia, and the UAE. In 2016, Galinelli moved to Belgium to complete his residency at Ghent University in the European College of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ECVCN), focused in Equine Nutrition.

Galinelli moved to Australia in 2020 to do his PhD at the University of Melbourne, submitted in February 2024, working on a project about “Equine Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction: diagnosis, treatment and management.” He also worked at the U-Vet Equine Centre as a clinician (2020-2021). Currently, he is a lecturer in Veterinary Biosciences at Melbourne Veterinary School. His main professional interests are equine endocrinology, medicine, and nutrition.

In his spare time, Galinelli enjoys taking wildlife pictures and outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, snorkeling, and scuba diving.
