We tapped into our friends at The Donkey Sanctuary in the United Kingdom to help us understand some basics of body condition score for these equids.
We are also thrilled to be able to provide you a Body Condition Score Chart specifically for them .
I’m not going to tell you where my rescued “little girl” (miniature donkey) is on this chart. Let’s just say that she is currently on a diet and exercise program that should help her get to at an ideal weight.
You can view or download this Body Condition Score Chart from The Donkey Sanctuary.
